Hans Keller Forum (HKF) is a new ChamberStudio programme which provides in-depth mentorship for selected chamber ensembles from UK conservatoires. It runs as a set of three-day residential courses held at West Road Concert Hall. The ensembles will be coached by acclaimed chamber musicians Alasdair Beatson, John Myerscough and Richard Ireland.
Hannah Uzor, current holder of the Milein Cosman Scholarship for Drawing at the Slade School of Fine Art, will be drawing the musicians at work as Artist in Residence.
Held alongside the masterclasses is a series of lectures linked to Hans Keller. Following this session from 8:00pm-9:15pm, Simon Rowland-Jones will explore The Inner Workings of Britten’s Quartets in a lecture first presented at the Wigmore Hall, featuring live excerpts performed by the Medea String Quartet.
HKF is funded by the Cosman Keller Art and Music Trust.
