The Down for the Count Orchestra returns to West Road Concert Hall for a celebration of a musical icon, Nat King Cole.
Friday 3 July
Première of Susannah Self’s new Gloria in Cambridge Selfmade Music is premièring Susannah Self’s fourth major new choral work, the Gloria, in Cambridge’s West Road Concert Hall. It will be paired with Handel’s Dixit Dominus, a brilliant work written in Italy when he was only 22. In addition, Susannah Self’s radiant work for violin and strings, Harbour, will be given its third UK performance with soloist Kayla Nicol.

Collegium Laureatum
Collegium Laureatum present a summer concert of Mozart and Schubert including the former’s ‘Credo’ Mass. All the works are short and sweet! Ideal for a July evening.

Celebrating the very best of brass band music, the Cambridge Festival of Brass will feature performances from three outstanding local bands alongside special guest soloist Tom Smith, Principal Cornet of the world-renowned Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band.
