Conducted by Viv Halton and compèred by Myra Brunton, Cambridge Wind Band presents a colourful selection of its favourite uplifting symphonic wind band music. The programme includes two works by John Williams: "Closin' in" (from the film "Catch me if you can", and featuring Marcus Wentzell on solo alto saxophone) and "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", and works by many other composers including Paul Harris, Philip Sparke, and Martin Ellerby. The local charity which will benefit from this concert is Cambridge Cancer Help Centre.
