Launching the Cambridge University Lunchtime Concert series with flair, the Samulnori Society presents their vibrant percussion stylings at West Road Concert Hall!

Rooted in p’ungmul (Korean farmers’ band music), Samulnori utilizes four distinct percussion instruments. This Korean percussive art genre has rapidly gained global popularity since the late 1970s for its dynamic rhythmic intricacies. Nami Morris, both director and performer, leads the society in presenting authentic traditional Korean melodies.
