Harpsichord Recital

Cambridge University Lunchtime Concert

MPhil music student, Alexander Austin, takes to the West Road stage to perform a series of works by J.S. Bach and François Couperin on the harpsichord. Throughout the MPhil course, Alexander has used these works as a point of research, exploring different aspects of embodied performance between two composers.

Cello Recital

Cambridge University Lunchtime Concert

Recent graduate and current alto lay clerk Doraly Gill finishes this year’s lunchtime concert series with a thrilling cello recital. The concert will centre around Samuel Barber’s Cello sonata and Igor Stravinsky’s Suite Italienne, alongside some compositions from recent Cambridge composers.

Upcoming changes to parking

As part of a programme across the University please be aware that barriers are being installed to car parks around West Road which are due to be operational after the summer. 

Additionally, a multi-year redvelopment project of the Stirling Building close to the Concert Hall will require one car park to be closed during the works. Discussions are underway to maintain parking provision for those attending events. 

Patrons are reminded that on-street parking is free on West Road and Sidgwick Avenue after 5pm
